When Gwathmey Siegel — the original architects of The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue — first drew up the building plans, they aimed to make a mark on the skyline. 

Looking at our breathtaking architecture and gleaming golden crown, we're proud to say that dream is now a reality.

Upon entering The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue, you'll notice two massive oil paintings behind the front desk. 

Both are by famed New York painter Alex Katz, and are the first in what has become a collection of 10 original artworks displayed throughout the hotel.

Our event space, The Gallery, has hosted many epic events — from a wedding depicting the four seasons to a party celebrating the return of the Grammys to New York City. 

So far, our most famous event was the ping pong match between tennis stars (and brothers) Andy and Jamie Murray. Andy won.​

Ai Fiori is our Michelin-starred restaurant, with a name that's Italian for 'among the flowers'. The team took their name literally, setting up a spectacular floral display that runs from our front window all the way up to the restaurant.​
